Decide whether you want a camera

Audio-only glasses and camera-equipped glasses solve different problems. If your goal is calls and listening, start with that use case instead of treating more sensors as an automatic upgrade.

Open-ear listening has tradeoffs

A field test should check audibility in traffic, sound leakage in a quiet room, and whether calls remain clear in wind. These observations require real use; we do not infer them from marketing claims.

Comfort is a daily-use feature

Fit, nose pads, temple adjustment, prescription support, and the way the glasses store in their case all affect whether a device becomes part of your routine.

Questions to settle before you buy

  • Do you need hands-free capture at all?
  • Will open-ear audio suit the places you use it?
  • Can you try the frame with your prescription before committing?
