THE BUYING GUIDE

Smart glasses. Smarter questions.

Start with your everyday routine, before you start with the spec sheet.

Choose the job

Are you trying to take hands-free photos, listen to audio, ask quick questions, or see information in a display? Those are different jobs. Write down the two you would use most often.

Try the fit first

Frame weight is only part of comfort. Temple shape, nose contact, lens prescription, and your head shape matter too. A short trial can reveal pressure points that a product page cannot.

Verify the regional details

Look up the exact model, country, phone requirements, languages, and assistant features. A feature shown in a demonstration may not be available to your account.

Think in routines, not maximums

A maximum battery claim cannot tell you how a mixed day of calls, captures, and music will go. Check the charging case and ask whether the charging pattern fits your habits.

Consider the people around you

Camera and microphone use is visible to other people in social spaces. Understand the capture indicator and controls. Choose when and where recording is appropriate, and respect requests not to record.
